A critical project under international funding, located in one of the fastest growing regions in Africa.
Located in the West African country of Ghana, and more specifically in the Takoradi region, the plant is one of the region’s most modern and versatile. We were contracted to provide BOP design services and the routing and design of a petroleum pipeline connecting the local port facilities to the facility providing the plant’s fuel source.
Our scope of work includes:
• Balance-of-plant civil design for Piperacks, tank farms and buildings
• Balance-of-plant piping design for all services
• 24” pipeline piping design, stress and supports for interconnection with existing fuel facilities
• Specialized engineering and design for the supports of high-load, high-temperature steam pipelines.
• Process design for the balance-of-plant services
• Process design for the plant’s fuel reception, cleaning and storage facilities
• Plant-wise tanks and vessels engineering and design.
• Field supervision services.
The project was one of the first to be designed with our 3D BIM process resulting a highly detailed, highly functional deliverable for our client.
